1. WHAT TYPE OF BOAT IS SAILFISH?
-Sailfish is a 2006 Leopard 40 a production cruising catamaran 40 feet long x 20 feet wide. She has a large comfortable cockpit with a roomy table. Sailfish is wide and stable. She doesn’t heel or tip like a smaller one hulled sailboats. She has roomy side decks, a large foredeck, and big trampoline for lounging, sunning, and sightseeing.
2. WHERE AND HOW DO WE BOARD SAILFISH?
-Sailfish is docked at the Harborage Yacht Club and Marina, 420 NW Flagler Ave, Stuart, FL 34994. Free Parking is available but you need a parking sticker. Someone will meet you in front of the Yacht Club and take you to the boat. Golf and dock carts are available for those with mobility issues. He will check you in by having you fill out the vessel manifest and signing a liability waiver.
3. HOW WILL CAPTAIN CONFIRM DESIGNATED MEET TIME?
-Once you have booked the trip you will receive a call or text from Captain Jones, John, or Matt with the specific time and place to meet for the sail on your scheduled day. Sunset times vary slightly by day according to season.
4. WHAT IS INCLUDED ON THE TRIP?
Our trips include complimentary soft drinks, water, and ice. If you are 21 or older, you are free to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
Recreational or medical Marijuana as well as any illegal drugs are not allowed onboard. Captain Jones can lose his license and even his boat if anyone is caught with them onboard.

6. ARE KIDS AND PETS ALLOWED ON THE BOAT?
-Absolutely! Bring your pet. Kids are welcome on the boat. When the vessel is underway, children under 13 must wear an appropriate Coast Guard-approved life jackets, unless they are below deck or in the enclosed cabin. We provide approved life jackets or you can bring your own.
7. HOW DO WE BOOK A SAIL?
-Call 561-801-0080 to arrange a booking.
8. IS THERE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
-All sails are dependent on the weather and marine conditions, which vary daily. If we cancel your sail due to the Captain’s discretion and/or weather, you have the option to re-book your sail on another day based on availability. If you cancel 48 hours or more prior to designated meet time is eligible you may receive a full refund or reschedule at another date based on availability. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the designated meet time, is not eligible for a refund and will be charged 100% of the payment due.
9. WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
-We recommend bringing sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and camera. Depending on the time and the season of your sail, you might consider bringing a light jacket. You are more than welcome to bring snacks or food and alcohol on Sailfish. If you are interested in arranging breakfast, lunch, snacks, or hour d’oeuvre’s please let us know and we can make these arrangements with local restaurants or delis on your behalf.
10. IS THERE A BATHROOM ON BOARD SAILFISH?
-Yes, there are two bathrooms or marine heads on board Sailfish.
11. WHAT WILL WE SEE ON OUR TRIP?
-It all depends on the weather/marine conditions for the day. We can sail in the St. Lucie and Indian Rivers or, if the conditions are right, we can exit the St. Lucie inlet for a sail up or down the Treasure Coast. Both options offer numerous opportunities to view local wildlife including many species of birds, dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees depending on the season. We cannot, however, guarantee what we will see. The Treasure Coast has an amazing history and an incredible ecosystem that we love to explore and help others discover!
